With a capacity of up to 160 people, the Belvédère Room boasts over 85 feet of glass magnifying the spectacular view. The Belvédère room is designed to create a relaxing yet enchanting environment for your special day. Our dining room is equipped with a state of the art sound system, wireless microphones, 2 HD video screens, and multi coloured LED lighting effects
Ceremonies
What could be more magical than saying “I do” in a custom designed Wedding Arbor perched on the edge of the cliff with the rolling hills in the background, surrounded by your closest friends and family.
If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, there is also our indoor ceremony room that offers an uncompromised view and intimate atmosphere.

Wedding Specialist
Our on-staff wedding specialist will guide you from the beginning, until your wedding day to ensure every detail is just the way you imagined it. On your wedding day all of our professional staff will be present to ensure your day unfolds as planned. To assist in the planning, our wedding specialist would be more than happy to recommend local professionals who specialize in services such as floral arrangements, musical offerings, and photography all of which help to make your day memorable.
The Guesthouse
Great for out of town relatives, special guests, or members of the wedding party.
Our three unit guest house sleeps 6 to 8 persons. Each unit has queen size bed and private bath. Two units offer kitchen facilities. One unit has a sofa bed.
The rate for the guesthouse is $799.
An additional night is $500.

What is capacity of Le Belvedere?
Le Belvedere can accommodate weddings up to 160 people for a formal sit down dinner.
What is capacity of Ceremony?
Le Belvedere can accommodate ceremonies up to 160 people. We have options for both indoor and outdoor ceremony site
What is the minimum group size that I can book for?
We have a minimum of 100 people on any Saturday between the months of May-October. Smaller events can be held any other day of the week or in the off season.
What is included in the per person meal cost?
The cost per meal includes the facility rental fee, all tables, chairs, linens, flatware, dishware, staffing and an on site wedding planner.
Are we able to bring in food from a third party supplier?
We do all of the catering on site at Le Belvedere, however we will make exceptions for certain items such as wedding cakes, we must be notified ahead of time.
Do you cater for all dietary requirements?
Yes we do, our only request is that we receive any and all dietary requirements as early as possible.
Can we change the standard menu for the Reception meal?
Yes you can make adjustments to your reception meal, however we would need to do a costing with your amended menu item to confirm whether there would be additional costs for the items that you would like to include
Is there a Bar available?
Yes, we have a fully licensed Bar at Le Belvedere as well as multiple bar packages to choose from. Off site liquor is not permitted
Can I decorate the facility?
You are welcome to bring any decor you desire as long as there is no damage to the building ie tacks in walls or tape that may remove paint. Candles are permitted as long as they are at least partially covered
Do you host more then one wedding at a time?
No, when you rent the facility the entire venue is exclusively yours for the day
After I book my special event what should I expect from your wedding planner?
At any time after you reserve your date, our wedding planner is available to answer your questions regarding all aspects of your event e.g. decorations, set up, food service. Your wedding planner will be your contact throughout the process to finalize all the details of your day from menu to timeline
Can I have a rehearsal prior to my wedding day?
Yes. You will be able to have a rehearsal during the week prior to your event
How can I secure a date for my special event?
Le Belvedere requires a deposit in the amount of $5000 to secure your date. Contact me at jessica@le-belvedere.ca for more information
Where can I have my wedding ceremony?
We have both indoor and outdoor sites available. Our outdoor site is a breathtaking cliffside wedding arbor with your guests overlooking beautiful rolling hills. Our lower level indoor ceremony is a beautiful private site dedicated solely for indoor ceremonies with the same breathtaking views.
Is there a cost for my wedding ceremony?
Yes, the cost is $1000 and includes full set up and takedown of your ceremony site.
Can I set up a time to visit the facility?
Yes! We would love to show you around. We are very flexible and give tours when it’s convenient for your schedule, including nights and

Is car parking available to my wedding guests?
Yes. On-site Parking is complimentary for your guests to use on your wedding day
Are there accommodations close by?
Yes, we do have a 2600sq ft villa available to rent for the day of your wedding. It has 3 separate suits including a 800 sq ft private honeymoon suite. In addition the town of Wakefield has several options for accommodations including the Wakefield Mill. There are also options in Gatineau including the Ramada and Hilton
Do you accommodate buses?
Yes, there is no issue with large buses and limos at Le Belvedere
Does the building have air conditioning?
Yes, Le Belvedere is fully Air-conditioned
What is a passive building?
The term passive refers to the rigorous standard for energy efficiency in a building, reducing its ecological footprint. It results in ultra low energy buildings that require little energy for space heating or cooling
Do you have audiovisual equipment?
Yes, we have equipment to fulfill your audiovisual requirements
Do you cater to alternative weddings?
We do, we would be happy to accommodate any wedding with a wide range of needs and requirements

What time does the bar close?
Last call will take place at 1:00am with the venue closing at 1:30am
Is there transportation in the area?
Yes, there are several options to help your guests arrive to their destination safety. There are multiple cab companies that service the Wakefield area, including
